Silent Path05

A series of three short documentaries shot in Lesvos by Tzeli Hadjidimitriou, during the financial and migrant crisis:

Salt and Bread introduces us to the people of a neighborhood, an ouzo distillery and a boatbuilder. What they all have in common is their love for what they do.

Grannies presents four women of Lesvos, aging but strong in spirit, grounded in the soil and history of the island, recalling life with humour and wisdom.

Routvas is a remote shepherds’ family settlement in the mountains, next to a Christian chapel with ancient Greek columns, where they spend the summer with their flock of sheep.
