Hosted by the Mytilenian Brotherhood of Sydney & NSW

Lesvos is the third largest Greek island, with a history that dates back thousands of years. It produces its famous ouzo and the best olive oil in Greece, and enchants visitors with the Petrified Forest and its other natural beauties. Lesvos has been home to the painter Theophilos, the philosopher Aristotle, the poet Elytis and many other famous Greeks. Come along for a cooking demonstration, olive oil and other Lesvos products, a Theophilos exhibition, a music workshop, a lecture on the island and a backgammon (tavli) championship.
