celebrate the 21st year of the Greek Festival of Sydney, the much-acclaimed
National Theatre of Greece brings you two exclusive performances of Sophocles'
Antigone at the State Theatre.

Written by Athenian politician Sophocles in 441BC, Antigone is the second of the 'Oedipus Trilogy' and is regarded as one of the world's first modern social dramas, winning it's first dramatic prize in 440BC at the Festival of Dionysos.
