Women share stories of career, culture, self-identity love and virginity in Oz. Led by prominent Greek- Australian women including festival artists Mary Coustas, Effy Alexakis, Nina Angelo and Phyllis Foundis at this celebration of International Women's Day. Includes special performance of The Virgin Club.

Background:

The day sets to explore all aspects of Greek Australian culture, including career paths, culture, Self identity, love, virginity and the GREEK GUILT factor in Greek Australian women.

"We want it to be a light and entertaining celebration of International Women's Day but I would also like it to be a ground breaker" says Katerina Skoumbas, co-ordinator of the Greek Festival of Sydney 2004 and brains behind the forum.

The forum will be exploring these issues through audience participation with a focus on discussing the panellist's achievements and seeing just how far they have stepped beyond the boundaries placed on a "Good Greek Girl".
