A day full of music, dancing, food, sport, stalls, workshops, comedy and loads of other exciting Greek Entertainment.
Also featuring the commemoration of Greek National Independence Day.

Zorba in Paris

Zorba was never actually in Paris as far as we know! And yet, in a sense, he was born there! His creator, Nikos Kazantzakis, studied French at school in Naxos and went to the French capital for postgraduate study in 1907-9.  We will recreate the atmosphere of the Paris he knew through music, slides, brief talks, and readings.

SAE Oceania has revived the Pan Hellenic Games to be held in Sydney in March 2005 and to be held in a different Australian city every two years.

The Omphalos project is a multi-speaker sound installation and interactive oracle. Omphalos is the Greek word for navel, and it is often used to refer to the oracle at Delphi – which was considered to be the navel of the world in ancient times.
