The Come Back by Theatre Company Teleia
The
performance "The Come Back" by the Athenian Theatre Company Teleia is based
on Yannis Ritsos' dramatic monologues Orestis (1966) and Return of Iphigenia
(1972). Created in the style of an ancient Greek tragedy, Ritsos passes
into his contemporary Greece and creates heroes who bring truth, live in
today and fight for the "Return to the Homeland". The centre of attention has been transferred in the existential field. The heroes of ancient tragedy come back in a critical era: It is the moment of assessment.
