A Two Part Documentary Screening
A tribute to the great composer Mikis Theodorakis, honouring his unique contribution not only to music and to culture generally, but also to his people’s struggles.
Ilias Malandris’ documentary focuses on Mikis’ music, as well as on the lyrics composed by Mikis himself and by other poets and songwriters. It contains rare material from concerts and movies.
The first part covers the period 1950-1970, while the second deals with the later years to the present day.
