A Photographic Exhibition by Shane Rozario

Shane Rozario has been photographing Sydney’s multicultural music program ‘Café Carnivale’ since its early beginnings in 2001. His photographs are the only historical record of the incredible talent amongst Sydney’s many multicultural communities.

The collection on exhibit at the Greek Festival focuses on the Greek community’s exceptionally talented musicians. It reflects accurately the energy of their live performances. In addition Shane has created an amazing new series of work showcasing the superbly crafted and visually spectacular instruments.

These beautiful inlaid pieces stand alone as works of art. His photographs pinpoint the essence of multiculturalism in Australia — the history, talent, craftsmanship, beauty and passion present in all cultures, all of them contributing to Australia’s unique character and richness.
