Paintings by Sue Soliman Malidis and Athena Xenakis

The idea of this joint exhibition was conceived as a result of a friendship between two artists, and their deep love for their homeland, their “Patrida”.

Athena and Sue share the same studio in Sydney, and have studied at the National Art School in Sydney in the late nineties. They both share a contemporary approach in their art. They travel to Greece regularly, always happy to return to Australia, but never doubting the necessity to go back for more inspiration.

For them, staying in Greece on a regular basis has been a significant factor in the development of their art, and in understanding multi-culturalism in our daily life in Australia.

Children’s Workshops
Sue and Athena will be hosting art workshops for children between ages 5 – 12 years.
